    Mohammad Kaiser Hamid

    Mohammad Kaiser Hamid (born December 1, 1964), commonly known as Kaiser Hamid, is a former Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a central defender. He is best remembered for his dedicated career with Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club and the Bangladesh national football team. Kaiser began his senior football journey with Dhaka Mohammedan, one of the most prestigious football clubs in Bangladesh, and spent his entire club career there, becoming a key figure in their defense. He made his international debut for Bangladesh on April 2, 1985, against Indonesia in a 1986 FIFA World Cup qualifier, scoring a goal in that very match, which Bangladesh won 2–1. Over the span of his international career, he earned 19 caps and scored one goal before retiring from international football in 1993. Born in Sylhet, Kaiser came from a sports-oriented family—his father, M.A. Hamid, was a military officer, and his mother, Rani Hamid, is a renowned chess player. In recognition of his contributions to football, he was honored with the National Sports Award in 2003. Off the field, he is a family man with one daughter and two sons. Kaiser Hamid remains a respected figure in the history of Bangladeshi football.

    Zahid Hasan Emeli

    Zahid Hasan Emeli (born December 25, 1987) is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played as a striker and was a key figure in the national team from 2005 to 2014. Known for his sharp goal-scoring instincts and consistent performance, Emeli remains the second-highest goalscorer for Bangladesh in international football and holds the third-highest number of international caps. His club career saw remarkable success, particularly between 2007 and 2012. Emeli played for top Dhaka-based clubs such as Abahani Limited Dhaka, where he scored 25 league goals and helped secure back-to-back B. League titles. In the 2009–10 season, he joined Mohammedan SC and netted 18 goals, contributing to their runner-up league finish. Emeli later played for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, winning the league title, and then moved to Muktijoddha Sangsad KS, helping them finish as league runners-up. In 2012, he joined Sheikh Russel KC and played a vital role in their Federation Cup victory, scoring eight goals in the tournament. With his impressive goal-scoring record and impact on both club and international levels, Emeli is considered one of the most successful strikers in the history of Bangladeshi football.
